Dockmate offers a wide range of products for centralized boat control. Remote control systems that facilitate maneuvering and work with different motorization configurations.

Piloting your boat with a remote control

Dockmate has developed wireless remote control systems for boats. Its technology enables maneuvers to be controlled from any point on the boat. Its 50-meter range makes it easily adaptable to boats from 7 to over 50 meters. It adapts to all engine architectures, single or multiple. A receiver, installed behind the dashboard, centralizes the links with wired motors and thrusters. It then communicates wirelessly with a remote control.

Different control levels for different boats

Dockmate offers 3 levels of service, to suit all boat configurations.
  • The Dockmate RED is compatible with simple analog systems and operates in on/off mode
  • The Dockmate, SINGLE or TWIN, also in on/off mode, for analogue or non-analogue installations, features a number of additional functions
  • The Dockmate TWIST or VECTOR adds the possibility of proportional control of motor power.

Advanced, intuitive features

Dockmate doesn’t just duplicate engine, bow and stern thruster controls. With the aim of simplifying the yachtsman’s life, it also adds various functions, such as Engine Trick, a joystick for moving the boat sideways, or Soft Docking, which regulates the power demanded on strong engines, limiting jerking.

Based on a patented, secure wireless protocol, the Dockmate remote control can be easily configured to suit the boat’s configuration

When using a Dockmate® remote, that was charged to 100%, it takes up to 3 hours of constant use (remote actively communicating with the Receiver) to deplete the battery. This translates to a few very difficult and/or long docking manoeuvres, or lasts at least 15 docking manoeuvres of approximately 10 minutes.

During our test charging a Dockmate® remote from empty to completely full takes up to 3 hours. In practice we’ve observed a typical charging time for a Dockmate® remote of 20 to 40 min. For boaters using our latest Dockmate® Cradle, their Dockmate® remote is virtually always charged up and ready for use.
